WOBURN - At the Massachusetts Science & Engineering Fair, recognizing some of the top high school students in the state, Woburn's Arielsie Li won the First Place Award for MathWorks with her 'Under-Actuated Fast-Running Bipedal Lizard Robot.' As part of the recognition, Li was recently featured on television's WHDH-7 news. A study on the durability of environmentally friendly drinking straws along with Li's project on improving the running speed and stability for a bi-pedal robot were the big winners announced at the Massachusetts Science & Engineering Fair awards ceremony held May 9.
