A lottery player in Massachusetts won $100,000 during Saturday night's Powerball jackpot drawing for $596 million, the Massachusetts State Lottery reported . The winning ticket was sold at the Cumberland Farms in Ware, located at 195 West St. The winning numbers in the drawing for Sept. 16 were 8, 11, 19, 24, 46 and Powerball: 5. Players choose five numbers between 1-69 and one Powerball number between 1-26. Numbers can be chosen manually or randomly with a Quic Pic ticket from the Lottery computer.
